CATALYTIC CAPITAL COMMUNITY

OF PRACTICE

Impact Capital Managers is facilitating the launch of a Catalytic Capital Community of Practice, convened in partnership with Prime Coalition and Rhia Ventures.

The Community of Practice will bring together intermediaries working at the frontier of catalytic, impact-first, and concessionary capital. It will create a space for practitioners to align on definitions, share tools, and strengthen the infrastructure supporting this growing field.

The goal is to establish a durable community shaped by catalytic capital practitioners. ICM is supporting the launch as a facilitator, but the resulting community will be independent and distinct from ICM.

Initial areas of focus:

  • A shared glossary of catalytic capital terminology

  • Equity-centered governance and membership principles

  • A founding cohort of catalytic capital intermediaries

  • A roadmap for high-priority tools and shared resources

Who the community is for:

  • Managers of catalytic or impact-first capital

  • Capital orchestrators and financial backbone organizations

  • Nonprofits structured to receive and deploy charitable capital
