Impact Capital Managers (ICM) is a network of private capital fund managers investing for superior returns and meaningful impact. The Impact Capital Managers mission is to accelerate the performance of our member funds and to scale the private capital impact investing marketplace with integrity and authenticity. We do this through our membership association and field-building research, education, policy, and training initiatives in collaboration with the affiliated ICM Institute. Membership is selective. We welcome serious inquiries from prospective member funds; please fill out the application below, and a representative from our team will be in touch.

    1. Impact Focus: Commitment to positive impact as a core investment objective

    3. Investor Type: Private markets fund manager with one or more LPs making direct investments (Venture Capital, Private Equity, Credit, or Real Estate) 

    4. Market Orientation: Seeks competitive, risk-adjusted, market-rate returns 

    5. Capital: $25+ million of assets under management; first-time funds may qualify 

    6. First Close: If raising a first fund, a first close is required 

    7. Member Representative: Although ICM membership is at the firm level, and accessible to every staff member, each member is asked to designate a minimum of one partner/executive-level member representative and primary point of contact 

  • Occasionally, ICM will open membership to single LPs (e.g., family offices or corporate venture firms) or funds not yet at $25M AUM who otherwise meet our criteria. Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), search funds, and firms primarily investing via fund-of-funds, or in secondaries,are not eligible for membership.

  • ICM member dues are based on a firm's AUM and a tiered annual dues structure ranging from $2,000-20,000. AUM is defined as the assets under management across all impact fund(s) on which your firm collects a management fee. Member dues cover access to all of our programming for your entire team. There are no additional fees to participate in the network.
