TOBY LEVY, 2025 Mosaic Fellow
Toby is a dual MBA/Master of Climate Solutions candidate at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and Rausser College of Natural Resources. Prior to Berkeley, he worked at the intersection of finance, public policy, and sustainability, supporting ESG risk initiatives at Citi and advancing corporate governance and sustainability engagement efforts at BlackRock.
At Berkeley, Toby has built experience in early-stage venture capital, serving as a Venture Fellow at both Anthropocene Ventures and Xfund, sourcing and diligencing investments in climate tech, AI, and the built environment. He also contributes to government affairs efforts at Peak Energy, a sodium-ion battery startup. Earlier in his career, he developed a public policy foundation through internships at The Brookings Institution and at the White House in the Office of Vice President Joe Biden.
Toby is passionate about scaling climate innovation through both investment and policy and is excited to join Blackhorn Ventures this summer to help support solutions for a sustainable future.
