LAURA RAFFERTY, 2025 Mosaic Fellow

Laura is a first-year MBA candidate at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Prior to Fuqua, she worked on the digital health strategy and partnerships team at Optum, where she evaluated and negotiated partnerships with women’s health startups. Before that, Laura served as the financial planning and analysis lead at Sanvello Health, an early-stage behavioral healthcare startup, where she helped scale financial operations. She began her career on UnitedHealth Group’s Corporate Development team, executing acquisitions across various healthcare sectors. Laura developed an interest in impact investing through her work as an Associate on Fuqua’s student-run impact investing fund, where she collaborates with other students to identify investments that promote health equity. Laura holds a B.A. in Economics from Carleton College. She is excited to join Rebalance Capital this summer and support their mission of promoting upward mobility.
