KAYLA SPIGELMAN, 2026 Mosaic Fellow
Kayla is a first-year MBA student at MIT Sloan, where she is pursuing certificates in Finance and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. She is passionate about strengthening communities through sustainable, resilient infrastructure and scaling practical climate solutions. At Sloan, she serves as Vice President of Sponsorships for the MIT Climate & Energy Prize, where she leads efforts to raise and deploy funding that supports high-impact climate startups.
Before business school, Kayla worked at Deloitte, where she developed data visualization tools to help public sector clients track climate progress and drive data-informed decision-making. She also supported the U.S. Department of the Navy’s energy performance contracting program, contributing to initiatives that enhanced long-term energy security and infrastructure resilience. Outside of work and school, Kayla enjoys exploring new cities (most recently Lisbon and Jaipur), taking yoga classes, and baking macarons.
