DIPAK KUMAR, 2025 Mosaic Fellow

Dipak Kumar is a joint MBA/MPP candidate at Harvard Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School. Before graduate school, he was a Senior Analyst at the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, where he co-developed the firm’s climate investment strategy and led diligence on high-impact deals. He began his career in private equity at Cove Hill Partners, focusing on technology investments. Dipak also served as a Michael S. Dukakis Fellow in the communications office of Maryland Governor Wes Moore and supported science and technology policy research at the Kennedy School. A graduate of the Wharton School, he has long been interested in the intersection of innovation and social change. He is excited to join Virta Ventures, where he will bring together his passion for climate, technology, and impact by funding and supporting seed-stage climate software startups.
