WINSTON TANG, 2025 Mosaic Fellow

Winston is a dual Master in Public Policy and Master in Urban Planning candidate at Harvard Kennedy School and Graduate School of Design, where he focuses on advancing social, environmental, and economic impact through infrastructure investment and real estate finance. Prior to graduate school, he worked at a clean energy company and later advised the public sector on housing policy. His cross-sector foundation in architecture, government, and computer science informs a multidisciplinary approach to shaping resilient, equitable, and investment- ready cities. Winston founded the first Harvard Housing Infrastructure, Policy & Design Symposium and has contributed to projects ranging from financial modeling for mixed-income housing to spatial and econometric analysis of transportation systems and municipal capital expenditure planning. His recent work includes structuring pro formas and capital stacks for urban redevelopment competition projects in the U.S., advising on electric vehicle infrastructure strategy in East Africa, and supporting communications for megacity initiatives in the Gulf region. These efforts reflect his deep commitment to aligning capital with public-purpose infrastructure. He is excited to bring this perspective to the Mosaic Fellowship and contribute meaningfully to the future of impact-driven investing.
