Michaela Ekowo, Manager, Finance & Operations

Michaela Ekowo joined Impact Capital Managers as Manager, Finance and Operations in January 2024. Prior to ICM, Michaela served as Grants Manager at The Hastings Center in a small hamlet in New York’s Hudson Valley. In this role, she was responsible for supporting proposal development and submissions, grant financial accounting and reporting, and managed an electronic library of bioethics journals.

Before joining The Hastings Center, Michaela worked for The City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate School of Public Health as a Grants Associate. While at CUNY, Michaela was a leader on the Sponsored Programs and Administration Research office working alongside a team of public health scientists and epidemiologists.

Michaela holds a BA in French from Florida Atlantic University. She also holds a Master of Arts in International Administration from the University of Miami, in Florida. Michaela is fluent in Spanish and French, and conversational in Russian.
